Outstanding findings

Multidisciplinary research

Beyond my main research activities, I have also pursued independent interdisciplinary investigations driven by curiosity and a desire to explore connections beyond conventional disciplinary boundaries. By bringing together ideas, observations, and approaches from different fields, these explorations have opened unexpected perspectives and led to several outstanding findings. They reflect my conviction that some of the most interesting discoveries can emerge at the intersection of disciplines, where new connections become possible.

1) How explaining that a submarine springs absorbs a coastal lagoon?

Flow reversal mechanism is explained by density driven flow between lagoon and karst system

2) Can melting ice trigger earthquakes?

Climate-change-induced seismicity

3) What determines the width of a stalagmite?

A drop does not necessarily fall vertically
